Hey I Have That Album

Ever buy an album because you like a song and then forget to listen to the rest of the album?

Me too.

Reading about some bigot anti-Semites reminded me that I have a whole pile of Disturbed albums that I need to listen to on the off chance that enjoying them would cause the bigots physical pain.

Probably won't, but why risk it?

PS: Signing your name on a 155mm shell might make you cunt, but it doesn't automatically make you wrong.

PPS: Cunt doesn't mean the same thing in the UK as the US, so the accusation might not land most places.

  1. Angus, enlighten me, please? What does "cunt" mean on your side of the Atlantic? For the avoidance of doubt, in the UK it is a coarse vernacular synonym for the female pudenda, which, doubtless through overuse is considered significantly less shocking in the current year than in past decades.

    1. It's a very flexible word on both sides of the pond, apparently. In the UK it used to be used where the US would say "bastard" in the "I'm an asshole" meaning not the unwed parents meaning.

But cunt in the US can refer to both a vagina or to call a woman an epic bitch. It's the N-word for wimmins here.

The UK has men calling themselves cunts in some cases, and that would never fly here and can mean as mild as "you asshole" there.

I mentioned the difference so the US readers might understand that cunt is not the same insult there as here.
