9x21mmSR Browning Long Restoration
I think it shoots better than the .380 ACP barrel by a wide margin. It's hard to characterize it. The recoil impulse is just... friendlier? It's not really softer than .380 or stronger. But it seems like it takes a lot longer for the impulse to hit and that makes it better to shoot.

Larger case volume should equal lower chamber pressure and a slightly longer slower powder burn. At least in theory. That should make recoil slightly lower and not really affect velocity or energy much either, depending on barrel length, normal powder burn rate, etc.
