Marv and I were going to attend FFA-NPR's holster drawing class today.
One of the prerequisites is "outside the waist band holster with retention".
Marv doesn't collect holsters like I do, so he didn't have one for his M&P 9.
This is where it all goes wrong.
He attempted to order a Kydex holster from DSG. Their website can create results which makes you think you've narrowed your choices, but have actually broadened them.
He ended up getting a holster for a Bodyguard instead of an M&P 9.
He'll try to exchange it, but... no holster, no class.
As for me, every holster I'd ever bought for my Glock 21 seems to fit an M&P 9 perfectly. Go figure.
I'm so very tempted to show up to the class with an UM-84 flap holster. You can't say a flap holster that fully encapsulates the gun doesn't have retention.
