I have, like, three role playing games that I want to read and understand.
Ironically, one of them is one that I played extensively.
Thirty-seven and some odd years ago...
Another is one I played a bit.
Forty-three odd years ago...
It'll be fun!
But I need to sit down and actually read and Grok the rules.
I remember them standing alone and being fun.
I stopped playing Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay because I had more players for GURPS T2K when I was in the Army.
I stopped playing The Fantasy Trip because it was just me and two other people playing. And we mostly were trying to play AD&D modules... It made more sense to just play AD&D.
I welcome our alien overlords and this opportunity to have some "fun" for a change.
Any thoughts on the mess swirling around Steve Jackson Games, as per this article?:

Jon Arnoz wrote this piece, and I'm not that fond of him.
I loved the Fantasy Trip, and spent far too much time on it before I entered the USAF, and met Jackson at a gaming con in the early 80s. Interesting person, but apparently very woke.
He was a normal Austin citizen at one time. He was a bit odd, but not woke way back when.
DeleteThe support of BLM and the full page paen about Roe v Wade being overturned sent me away. I'm not even pro-life and it offended me!
I'm pro-LGBT rights and their position with LGBT and DEI pissed me off.
