Oh No! Anyway

Starbucks has announced that they're closing hundreds of stores.

I worry that my life will be affected in some mysterious way because I don't actually buy coffee from Starbucks.

I haven't been in one since they clarified that they didn't appreciate OUR appreciation for being neutral in the gun debate.

If I want bougie coffee, there's a couple of excellent, local places.

  1. Buddy of mine would call and tell me he wanted to drop by and visit. Bear in mind that he lived on my sofa for months. He would need directions, though. 'Okay, Rusty, where are you?' 'Outside od Starbucks....?'

    1. A friend coming to visit got direction turned and called to ask directions.

I asked, "What can you see?"

He replied he could see a 7-11, Starbucks and a Walgreens.

I told him he was definitely in Florida.

  2. I will enjoy a warm cup of schadenfreude if another one closes. A few years ago the Starbucks in the middle of downtown closed because the locals were too competitive. Our local dichotomy is the Whole Food and Wilco Farmstore on opposite corners
