Why am I not shocked to find that the mover and shaker of the Volstead Act, Andrew Volstead, was from Minnesota?

Freezing your balls off six months a year must really break a mind.

In celebration of the 106th anniversary of the enacting of the act named after him, I imbibed a dram of fine Scotch!

Also, fuck be upon everyone who thinks we need to bring the full power of the government down on anyone because they think it's good for them.
