The possession, use, or storage of Weapons or Firearms is strictly prohibited on all [Brown] University Property and at [Brown] University-sponsored events, except as authorized under this policy.
There cannot have been a mass shooting at Brown University because firearm possession, use and storage has been prohibited.
Do not repeat the lies of the mass media.
Or, maybe, just MAYBE, gun free victim zones are the problem and not the guns.
I don't recall any mass shootings since Texas legalized campus carry.
I'm in Texas and I can confirm that campus carry, like pretty much any other time that concealed or open carry has been legalized has been a non-issue. The only people causing a problem are generally people who were prohibited before the incident anyway, meaning that the law had no effect.

Working on a Campus in Texas... Yeah, something like half my Staff carry at any given time. As someone who escaped the shadow of Chicago, the place is strangely polite, but could just be so many of us being armed? No, probably just the way folks are here in Texas, the "armed" part just seems to reinforce things...
ReplyDeleteThe issue NOBODY on the Anti-Gun has ever addressed or I've ever heard of them addressing is the obvious one here. NO city or subculture in this country accepts murder. It's illegal everywhere and punishable by death almost everywhere, so if someone is willing to break a law that's virtually guaranteed to result in their death, lifetime imprisonment, or a life as a complete pariah, what are the chances that a minor prohibition like "don't bring a gun into this place" is going to have any positive effect at all? It has stopped nothing and that's apparent in the smallest look at reality possible.
