Tales Of The Highway Patrolman

Willard got another bucket-list item knocked off.

The S&W Model 28-2 also known as a Highway Patrolman in .357 Magnum.  Edit to add because I accidentally cut but didn't paste...  It's a rather large gun being the same N-Frame as the .44 Magnum Model 29.  But since it's "just" .357 Magnum, it's really more of a Scruffy Harry gun.

It's rebated for the rims too!

  1. I thought it looked like a 29 at first glance. Very cool. How does it shoot? I have a Dirty Harry 29 (8 3/8in bbl) and love it!

  2. I have 2 of those with 4" barrels - nice guns.

    1. He's got a 27 in 4" to go with this one. I keep telling him he needs a 25 and 29 to round out his collection a little.
