The downside to "old" cars is you've got to spend some money on maintenance.
On a V-8 that means twice as much on some things because there's twice as many holes in the block.
New sparklers and wires today.
I'd been getting a bit of a stumble at the low end under load, often an indication of the plugs and wires getting a bit tired.
