DeleteSheriff Ivey doesn't get as colorful in front of the cameras as Sheriff Judd over closer to where you live McThag, and doesn't get videos like this as often but Ivey is a good guy. A couple of times he came to the gun club my wife and I are members of, and gave a good talk. Just not as catchy as Grady Judd's line about they actually prefer you to shoot home invaders, because if there's only a body at the scene, it saves taxpayer money.
ReplyDeleteA friend of a friend story (FOAF, not FAFO) is FOAF was coming home after a range trip and got pulled over by a Sheriff's office car. When the deputy saw all the gun cases he initially got nervous but when FOAF told him, it turned into one of those "ooo! What's that? .... Ooo that's coo! What's in that case?" kind of stories. For real. On one of the busiest roads in the county.
Tell that to the guy from the "Unite the Right" rally.
