What Do These Places Have In Common For $1,000

There are now more U.S. troops deployed to Los Angeles than in Iraq and Syria.

There are 4,800 activated Guard and Marine personnel in LA, compared to the 2,500 troops in Iraq and 1,500 in Syria.

Ever notice that the US military really only deploys to places where it's both a shithole and local government has utterly failed or collapsed?

I read this as California being collapsed worse than two notoriously failed states.

I just hope we don't try to nation-build there.  That always seems to make it worse.

  1. Do a surge first.
Take it to 200,000 deployed troops, push all the illegals back to Mexico, at bayonet-point if necessary, and let them nation-build, there. Lifetime ban on return.

Leave the troops on the border, and complete the wall, lest the undesirables attempt to ever sneak back.

We can fix a 60-year old bleeding sore in about a month, doing it that way, and gain unending peace and prosperity for the next 100 years, at minimal cost.

Bonus: it would probably tip Califrutopia back to majority red-state status, and the literacy rate in the schools here would double, then triple, before Christmas!

I triple-dog-dare the 47 administration to do it.
