Ten hours of sleep nicely erases the fatigue from not sleeping much and driving six hours each way.
Next time I'm up in Charleston, though, I am going to the Yorktown museum.

One thing I want to do in Charleston (this is Charleston SC, right?) is visit the museum where the CSS Hunley is, and pay my respects at the graves of the crew. That third crew in particular had to clank when they walked. You couldn't have got me into that deathtrap for anything.
ReplyDeleteNot sure where I sit on the assessment of their courage/stupid ratio. They were the last crew, but not the first crew. Being the first crew is brave. Coming later into a project where everyone dies isn't brave.
