Stupid Idea

I am fascinated with the idea of an overhead cam, underhead valve engine.

And I don't know why!

Such an engine would suck.

It's still an interesting engineering exercise though.

    If you're into induction weirdness, Ducati used pull rod valve actuation on a clip on bicycle engine and lots of desmodromic valve gear. You can also contemplate the Commer TS-3

    No worse than an inverted V engine.
