I'm reading a lot about about P320 issues and I remembered something.
The New York trigger for Glocks.
Cops drawing their pistols by the trigger isn't even a gun problem, it's a user problem and Glock had a fix for it in a very short time.
I don't think they even needed to be sued to figure out the heavier trigger to alleviate the issue.
It doesn't feel like Sig is taking the issue seriously.
That perception can affect a decision to buy.
If you want to go down a worm hole, read about the NJ State Police contract with Smith and Wesson. They Made S&W modify the pistol and magazines then were surprised the firearm was not reliable and Trooper Dufus could still have a ND. https://mcthag.blogspot.com/2025/07/a-difference.html#comment-form

DeleteThe incompetence of the management of the NJSP is beyond description! This is from a friend in the NJSP:
“Even we can’t believe this! The latest delay on the issuance of our new S&W M99 pistols is that the department is now going to, at great additional expense and delay, retrofit decocking levers onto the already-purchased, already-made, already-delivered pistols that specifically and purposely were manufactured WITHOUT decocking levers, at the insistence of our agency and against the advise of S&W.
I swear you could never make this stuff up! The taxpayers should run these guys out on a rail” DTI Quips 12/2000
the new york trigger was made to replicate the trigger pull of a revolver which is what the ny officers had forever...on a side note...the new glock performance triggers are way better than a stock glock trigger if you haven't tried one...panzer guy
