Late To The Party

[Joaquin] Jackson once conducted an interview with Texas Monthly where he suggested that civilian assault rifles be limited to a five-round capacity. After receiving angry criticism from gun rights activists, Jackson backpedalled and claimed that he was referring to fully automatic rifles (i.e., machine guns) as opposed to the semiautomatic assault rifles available on the civilian market in the U.S.
That's not really a substantively different position, Mr Jackson.

I am starting to see why the NRA is so silent on NFA reform.

    1. Loan me the lifetime membership money! I wasn't a member of the NRA for a long time and still have a couple years before my annual member voting rights are active.

But I intend to vote his ass gone when I do get to vote.

  2. I must add, that this discover about Mr Jackson is part of becoming informed about who's on the board and whether to keep them on.

I don't want to be the person (among many in all likelihood) who votes on, "I've heard that name before, I'll vote for that guy!"
