Weight

Colt Government Model in .38 Super.  Two spare magazines.  Galco Miami Classic II.
4 lb. 2.3 oz.  28 shots.

S&W M&P 9 in 9x19mm.  Two spare magazines.  Galco Miami Classic.

4 lb. 3.4 oz.  52 shots.

Almost double the number of rounds for just over an ounce more?

To think, I hesitated.

I used to carry a Springfield M1911A1 GI in .45 ACP.  Two spare magazines.  Galco Miami Classic II.

4 lb. 9.6 oz.  22 shots.

More than double the shots now with more than a 1/3 of a pound saved.

Modern guns are amazing.

Because all roads lead to GURPS...

If each die is 3.5 points on average...

Modern hollow point ammo changes pi to pi+ and pi+ to pi++ and adds an armor divisor of (0.5).

The .45 would lob 308 points.

The .38 Super would sling 399.

The 9mm would launch 702!

Since an unarmored opponent gets DR1 with this armor divisor...

.45 shrinks to 264.

.38 Super becomes 357.

9mm drops to 624.
