Don't Skip The Cheese



To use the entire can of soup, I made a double batch.

1 can of cream of (favorite)

1 can & 2 cups of water

Both flavor packets from two packs of Ramen

Boil

Add noodles, boil for three minutes.

Add a fistful of cheese.

NOM!

  1. Hmm, I enjoy eating filling 'cheap eats'. Sounds like a good way to get rid of small amounts of meat that are leftover. Eyemagonna have to try this myself.

    We often use ramen as the bottom layer for stir fry vegetables and meat. Switch off now and again with fried rice w/ mixed vegetables added in.

  2. The cheese is usually the best part... Just don't use Carolina Reaper cheese... Tried some of that... The heat just overpowers everything else. Ghost Pepper cheese isn't much better... I like spicy but I think I will stick to regular Pepper Jack which I think is made with Jalapenos...

    What kind of cheese would you go with? Probably couldn't go too far wrong with Cheddar I suppose. Don't think Mozarella would cut it in this. But I could be wrong.

    1. I used colby-jack because it's what was already shredded.

    2. Good choice. I like Co-Jack. For this kind of dish either Colby/Cheddar or Jack are the obvious go-tos, so Co-Jack is an excellent compromise.
