Film?

 

Jacob from Widener's sent me this link to a neat pocket-history of the M16A2

Of note are the photos being taken with a film camera!  I even stole one from the article so you get some incentive to go look at the rest.

Nikon F3, which, I think is period correct for an issue M16A2!

Pretty sweet, I think.

  1. I think the F3 is from the early 1980s. In the 1970s the F and F2 were common. F4 was popular in the 1990s before film cameras started to drop from popularity. I always wanted a Nikon but I never had the $$$ My dad was a Pentax/Mamiya person and I had a Fujica AX-3 in the 1990s.
