Old Radar Tech dropped some estimated numbers for the degraded .30 Carbine performance and it's spot on the same as .30 Super Carry.
Ouch.

I have a pistol in .30 Super Carry (what can I say, I have a taste for oddballs). I wonder if that round could come close to .30 Carbine out of a 16 - 18” barrel.
ReplyDeletePaging KelTec. KelTec to the white courtesy phone.
DeleteNo need to get KelTec involved unless you really want to. Hi-Point makes a .30 Super Carry carbine.
DeleteIf I ever get it together to set up that long threatened YouTube channel, one of the videos I’d like to do is a direct comparison between the pistol and the carbine. Of course, that would require me to buy the carbine…
(I know someone who has the two of the pistols. And I kind of want one myself. They’re almost reached impulse buy prices, and I like oddball calibers.)
