.270 Winchester
.270 Winchester is clearly superior to .30-06 and .280 Remington.
Why?
Because even during the great ammo panics of 2008 and 2012 it was still on the shelves at Wal Mart.
.30-06 disappeared.
.280 doesn't appear to be stocked by Wal Mart at all.

I got plenty of .30-06 plus reloading supplies...
ReplyDeleteThere was .270 when there weren't reloading supplies too.
Delete"I have a supply laid in" is NOT a counter argument to "it never became unavailable at stores".
I have several bricks of .22 LR. I bought them before the panics. That doesn't change that .22 became unavailable on store shelves.
