Congrats... and never forget that in Spanish, wife and handcuffs use the same word.
ReplyDeleteSome weird wisdom there.
Hi Angus,
ReplyDeleteFunny thing you should mention that!! 03JULY2000 my late wife Peggy and I said our "I do's!! A few weeks after we celebrated our 10th anniversary, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. They gave her 6 months...give or take. It was more "Take." She left us on 23NOV2010. So, yesterday now, is bittersweet.

DeleteAdditional bitter hit us today. The Lovely Harvey's uncle passed away today.
Congrats. It's nice to see another couple in it for the long haul. The lovely missus and I are coming up on 45 years in six months. May you two enjoy at least that many.............
ReplyDeleteHey Angus,
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!, I also am lucky, married 23 years now...egads..where the time has flown. I had commented to the spousal unit, "Shoot, I can't go out on the meat market today...gotta break in a new women," The wife called me a "Dirtbag" with humor of course. Truth be told and I have told her this many times, what other women will put up with my foibles, I am truly lucky :)
