.32 Revolver Rounds

L -> R
.32 S&W
.32 S&W Long
.32 H&R or .32 Merwin & Hulbert Long
.32 H&R Magnum

Digging up the dimensions for .32 H&R was a pain since the sites that used to give the dimensions are all dead.  One did come up on The Wayback Machine.

  1. I've often thought that the .32 S&W would be a good choice for the modern airweight J-Frame revolver, the one that even the most recoil-sensitive individual could shoot, and gun store salesmen would actually be justified in recommending it as a good choice for a novice woman shooter. The round could be updated with a better slug profile than the LRN, although it probably shouldn't be monkeyed with in the pressure department because of all the antique revolvers out there.

    1. I think that this was the idea behind .32 H&R Magnum. Modernize the .32 S&W and .32 S&W Long and change the case so pressure won't be an issue in old guns because it won't fit.
