Pop The Cork

I was surfing and stumbled across a guy opening a bottle of champagne with a saber.

I have a saber.

New Years is right around the corner too.

What could go wrong?

    There is a definite knack to it, and IIRC involves sliding the saber along the bottle, not swinging at it and striking it. Probably best to practice on a case of cheap Spumante, not a bottle of Dom Perignon.
