Adventures In Gunsmithing

I have won the auction for the only Sigma striker, of any kind, anywhere.

Hopefully this means the Sigma SW9V can be put into service.

    I hope that does it. If it isn't then logic would say the problem most likely has to be in the trigger or trigger bar. It looks like you can get those from Apex.

      The measured drop of the sear is identical between all three examples I have here.

      I think the 9mm broke a striker previously and someone at least as skilled as me did the fitting.

      Well, less skilled because they didn't do it right.

      The .357 SIG sears are machined, not MIM. That's what's coming in the mail.

    The machined one should be much stronger, and hopefully it will drop right in w/o requiring much fitment.
