SNT NoGo Las Vegas

It would appear that SNT Motiv will be making a production facility in Louisiana and not just Americanizing guns that are mostly made in Good Korea.

Sadly, that means that new tooling needs to be bought and manned here in the states and that will make the K2S a lot more expensive.

Probably at least as expensive as a used DR200 is.

    Hi Angus! Happy 1/4 millennium to you this good mourning of July 5th, 2026.
    Don't be too sure on the cost of manufacturing in the U.S. compared to Korea. I fully expect the new digs will be fully integrated CNC from raw material entry to finished part in the bin. Cost of production with all sparkly new close to intelligent machines with a few humans to verify the stuff is in tolerance, is cheaper than anything using machinery more than 5 years old with higher human contact. Would not even be surprised if some of the actual finished product assembly is also automated. T'is a brave new world we are living in, eh?
