I was hoping that GURPS: Vehicles 2nd edition for GURPS 3e would suffice for getting ammunition weights.
It will not.
Using its formulas will give 106.7 lb. for a 120mm APFSDSDU round.
The M829 round is 41.2 lb. It's a 120mm APFSDSDU round.
Notice the problem?
