¡Cinco de Mayo!

When the French win one, you should make note of it.

Wait.

They lost today?

To the Mexican Army?

To paraphrase Marquise Isabelle de Merteuil, "Beating the French army...  to succeed is commonplace.  To fail is humiliating."

Cinco de Mayo in the US is like all holidays we've imported from other nations or appropriated from other cultures: A time to hit the bars and get plastered!
