I get random panic attacks.
There are also a couple of activities that trigger them.
I've noticed that doing those activities during a random attack doesn't make the attack worse.
Thank Heaven for small favors?

That's what I thought was happening to me some time ago. Then one day at the doctor's office for something else they were unable to get a blood pressure reading with any of their automatic thingies. An EKG quickly showed the problem to be atrial fibrillation. Get yourself an automatic BP cuff with arrhyhthmia detection and use it next time you feel one of these "panic attacks". If it shows heart rate over 140 get yourself to a Doc. There are drugs that pretty much stamp it out, and you probably need to look at stroke prevention measures (drugs) as well. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteBP is only slightly elevated and heart rarely tops 95.
DeleteI had a heart workup when these first started happening.
