The LH has "hunter" knobs. The LT has "target" knobs.
The difference is the target knobs have finer clicks and are finger adjustable.

I bought a sweet old Krag 1898 sporter with what seems to be a Redfield 70 series sight with Hunter knobs. I was searching the internet for information about the sight when I found your blog.
ReplyDeleteI would greatly appreciate a copy of the instruction sheet you show in the background of one of your photos of the Model 70 Redfield. If you could either post it on your blog or email it to me at alan@alanmcmichael.com I would be most grateful.
Sadly, I don't possess the sight. I harvested the images from Ebay.
DeleteThose aren't instructions, that's an advertisement.
But the instructions are the same for all of these sights. If you don't already have pre-drilled mounting holes clamp the sight where it fits best, mark the hole locations, drill, tap, enjoy.
The scale is marked in mils. It's intended that the user either record the dope for how many mils equates to a given range, or to mark it yourself.
