Lyman 1A SA

How do you tell if your old Lyman sight is a 1, 1A, 2 or 2A?

If it's got a lock to hold it erect, it's an A.

If there's a flip down aperture in the front of the aperture, it's a 1, if there's threads in the back of the aperture, it's a 2.
