Did you know that if you don't start a 2012 Chevrolet Caprice PPV (6.0 L V-8) for three weeks, the sleeping electronics will drain the battery dead?
I know that now.
Luckily, I have an excellent battery charger.
All better now.
The car draws between 0.3 and 0.5 amps when it's sitting there waiting for you to come back.
It's the keyless entry system waiting for your signal, I am told.
And keeping a couple volatile memories alive for the clock and mileage calculator.
