That is precisely correct. That is the "Che" Guevara photo taken when he was placed on the slab for media to see. One of the few things the CIA did right in Lat Am.
ReplyDeleteI was in the region in 1967 and recall the TV and newspaper coverage quite clearly.

DeleteI laugh when I see all these movies and shows that make the CIA to be this perfect killing machine out to dominate the world. The CIA has bungled more stuff with the exception of the State Department. The CHE operation was one of the few good things they did.
