Service at the closest Chick-fil-A was so bad today I cancelled my mobile order once all three outside order takers ignored me.
Service at the Mitchell Ranch location has been getting steadily worse to the point where the juice is no longer worth the squeeze.
While good, they're not worth driving any farther than that location and the service used to be one of the reasons I'd go there, as opposed to other fast food assembly lines.

Dropping donations to the Salvation Army, crappy customer service, it's like someone is trying to kill the business.
ReplyDeleteI never understood why some people love Chick-fil-A so much. Admittedly, I'm just not a big chicken eater to begin with. And if I eat it, I generally want fried chicken. Chicken sandwiches just don't excite me much. But even for chicken sandwiches the two times I ate at Chick-fil-A I was underwhelmed. They aren't exactly cheap. They aren't exactly oversized. They seemed a little underseasoned to me. The bread was just meh. And just a pickle? Eh. Not inedible. But there are lots of other places that are just as good or better. And the not being open on Sunday thing. Yeah, it always seems like the time I might want a chicken sandwich, they aren't open. I've always thought the reason for a lot of their popularity is because of their pandering to the religious set. Being non-religious that was actually kind of a turn-off to me. Not enough to make me boycott them or anything, but it sure isn't going to help when I'm just not impressed by the product to begin with. I may be a terrible person, but give me a burger or some BBQ...
ReplyDeleteIt was their refusal to cave to the crybully homosexuals that got me in the place.
DeleteWhile they weren't great, the service was outstanding, fast and friendly.
The food is the same, but the service is no longer any different from a McDonalds.
Well I do appreciate companies that stand up against special interests, but I guess I didn't pay enough attention to the politics of all that to know what was going on. It doesn't help that for the most part the mainstream media spins things like that as them being awful homophobes who should be boycotted forever for not hanging rainbow banners everywhere.
DeleteWendy's spicy chicken sandwich is much tastier than Chick-Fil-A, if you have a taste for a yardbird sandwich.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's it basically. I've had chicken sandwiches other places that were as good or better than Chick-Fil-A. And open on Sunday. But given a choice, most of the time I want cow in my sandwich... or pig. Or around Thanksgiving maybe some turkey. If I get a hankering for some chicken it is usually fried.
DeleteI've never been big on Chicl Fil A either; I don't feel the food justifies the time waiting or the expense. But then I'm not picky about what I eat and I really don't like waiting.
ReplyDeleteThey are building one near my office; I'll probably end up there at some point to see what they're like...
