Because otherwise it's pretty bland, and, yes, vegan.
ReplyDeleteBut the healing power of butter and sour cream, maybe some bacon bits, or cheese and real chives (not scallions) and the bland becomes something wonderful.
And the eternal answer, which is BFYTW. Always a good answer.
One of my vegan acquaintances wondered why I put ham into my beans. The answer "To keep you out" wasn't appreciated. But true...
You forgot bacon.
