Thank God For Waiting Periods!

Otherwise someone might have gotten killed...

Oh wait...

"Police said [alleged murderer] bought the handgun used in the murders on Oct. 3. He picked it up on Oct. 7 after the required waiting period."
"The first killing happened on Oct. 9."
While he's not convicted, this shows the value of waiting periods to a tee.

It should also be noted he was packing without a permit too.  That's what got the cops to him in the first place.  How do we know he didn't have a permit?  People with permits in Florida get to skip the waiting period!
