I will say it again.
The election of Donald Trump was a symptom not a cause.
The "MAGA world" doesn't care about Donald. It cares about America and not selling the place out to other nations for peanuts.
We're completely aware that Mittens isn't one of use and actively works at cross purposes to our desires.
We want the freedoms and liberties promised by The Constitution as our birthright.
Cradle to grave welfare from an oligarchy is not part of that promise.
Reading exactly who Robby Soave is should tell anyone, even dead Democratic voters, that his opinion isn't worth a bucket of moldy used tobacco juice.
ReplyDeleteGee, please tell me why anyone in the GOP or right of Stalin should listen to a leftist poop-weasel like little Robby Sockpuppet?
I thought it was law that any time Mittens appeared on Twitter he was to be referred to by his handle "Pierre Delecto?"
ReplyDeleteHey Angus;
ReplyDeleteMittons had his chance to make a stand until he let his wimpy ass get rolled by Candy Crowley in that second debate while she bailed Obungler out because he was"Too Nice". That was the problem, the GOP was "Too Nice and they would roll over when the Donks attacked....until Trump showed up, sure Trump was an asshole, but he fought and wouldn't let anybody steamroll him and he endeared himself to many middle class voters by standing up for himself.
I agree fuck that asshole Pierre Delecto
ReplyDeleteThe Left is scared of Trump, so they keep after him because they think he created his base and that it will go away with him - because the dems are top down, they don't have grassroots and don't understand people who think for themselves and make their own decisions, they can't understand that Trump tapped existing sentiment; he didn't create it.
ReplyDeleteAs for Romney, been there, done that, not doing it again - there are MUCH more appealing candidates all over the country!
I won't give that motherfucker my vote EVER again.
ReplyDeleteRINO cocksucker, just like his girlfriend lindsay G.
A pox on do-nothing repugnicans; none of them are worth a busted condom.

Mitt Romney is an example of the "Us too, but not quite so much!" Republicans. That faction was permanently traumatized, first by being blamed by Boobus Americanus for the Depression (damn, Herbert Hoover was really all-powerful, to plunge the whole world into a decade-long depression!) and later on, just as they were living that down, for Watergate. That faction reminds me of the Revolutionary Committee of the Kuomintang---the P.R. China's second largest political party. They have members, they hold offices---but they never, ever oppose anything substantial the Communist Party does. They're the epitome of the "Us too!" party.
ReplyDeleteYou're exactly right, Trump was a symptom. I was at my local caucus before that election and after the results, I dismissed Trump's candidacy as a stunt. It was after that that he started talking about "building the wall," and his numbers started rising. The rest of the "Us too, but not quite so much!" Republicans didn't have his brass balls, and couldn't understand why he was taking the nomination away from them.
Trump's big problem in office was that he was a businessman, not a politician, and didn't understand how to deal with the "deep state." In his shoes, faced with obduracy and obstruction, I'd have sent out a blizzard of pink slips to the main bureaucrats who were getting in the way of his programs, and leaned very hard on the Republicans in Congress to get his stuff passed. I also wouldn't have been above blackmailing and arm-twisting the Democrats.
Trump was a symptom, in that you're quite correct. The Tea Parties were a symptom, as was the abortive "militia" movement of the 1990s. If Our Leaders were wiser, and less encapsulated in an information bubble, they'd have taken steps to correct the things that led to the rise of the militias and Tea Parties. But instead, lulled by the mainstream(ed) media's lockstep adherence to the Left, and unwilling to even look at other viewpoints, they continue on as they have done. Sooner or later, there is going to be a Great Comeuppance. I hope it's non-violent.
Personally I refer to Mitt as "the stench" ever since Dick Destiny used that in 2012. Robby Soave is cheerleading the stench because he's the only politician Xi Bribem could defeat in an honest election. I'm thinking DeSantis 24
