I Have An Ex Police Car...

I guess chicken-wire was inevitable.

Little Miss Beeper is a climber.  We're preparing to redo the screens, but realized that she will just rip them down when we do.

The chicken-wire will should protect the screens when she runs up the wall after an anole.

  3. Hey! This is one time I can provide something beneficial - pet screen - it works - we have a fully screened porch since 2016 we use to rotate our cats to for some outdoor catio time - in all we have 13 cats plus an outside that would like to be an inside (neighbors cat that visits) and it has held up perfect with all of our cats and they are climbers including our latest addition who has tested it well

I have since installed in on a friend of families screened porch on their farm - they have outdoor cats that climb it and also my in laws who had a couple but are gone now. It is a thicker screen - you can see perfectly out of it but you can tell its a thicker/darker view and as a bonus when in teh back porch you can hardly see unless really looking right in

This is what I used https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LNO9SU/?th=1

We also used the plastic track you screw to posts, spline the screen in (have to use smaller spline as screen is a touch thicker) and it has a plastic cover that goes over it nice and clean, found at lowes, home depot and menards

    1. The chicken wire is an attempt to prevent feline escape/damage while still retaining a screen which allows sufficient air flow that we can keep using the catio (stealing that) ourselves.

I've been unable to find the stainless wire mesh stuff I really want.

    2. This pet screen is legit strong, negates the need for chicken wire to prevent escape and damage. We also have a couple raccoons and a opossum that visit and have climbed a item or two. It really does not affect airflow, while being thicker - we also spend much time outside on it

Also, another suggestion is the zoo braid - we have used various sizes of thickness and openings for cat condo/cages - also called aviary mesh - come in all flavors including stainless - tons of options online > for a few pics see here https://stainlesssteelropemesh.com/product/stainless-steel-zoo-mesh-netting/
