That's not quite right. Marv and FuzzyGeff have both tried to explain this stuff to me, but I didn't understand it until today.

There's just no substitute for the immediate feedback you only get with digital photography, nicht wahr? I also really enjoy having all the settings invisibly, automatically embedded in every picture.

DeleteI've had fully adjustable and fully manual cameras since the 1970s. In the last 10 years, I don't think I've ever taken a Canon DSLR off aperture priority autoexposure, just for this reason. I get f2.8 lenses and shoot them at f11 over 90% of the time.
