At The Vet With The Bear

Our problem child, The Bear, has decided to chew a hole in his tail.

Some people's cats!

UPDATE: The Bear is back and wearing the cone-of-shame.  What probably happened was, while fleeing from his asshole brother and the kitten, he snagged his tail on something sharp under the furniture.  That got infected and formed an abscess.  Once that started hurting, he chewed on it until the pressure relieved.

  1. Cats have an amazing ability to recover from huge gaping wounds full of pus and ooze. Had one with a neck wound so bad you could see all the muscles and other things in there after the hole blew open.

Though, well, it is rather startling when it happens.

  2. I remember back in the early 1990s when some @$$#013 neighbor shot Mew with what appeared to be a BB gun. I'd have put a real bullet in their ass if I knew who did it.
