Linda is in 6.8x43mm SPC.

I'd like her to be in 5.56x45mm so I can use the purple dyed PMAGs with it..

Anyone out there need a 16", midlength, chrome-lined 6.8 barrel and bolt?

    I run a 6.8SPC and I am quite happy with it. If I had only one lower and wanted .223/5.56 I would have gotten the bolt, a complete upper assy, and the magazines and swapped them out to have two calibers. I have a couple different AR's and I keep them separated by color. The 5.56 is a black gun, the 6.8 is FDE, and the AR-9 is a woodland camo pattern. That goes for the magazines also.

    You might get a bite on your bolt and barrel over on the www.68forums.com board. I am a weekend reader and usually only see your sight once a week.

      I've still got Dottie in 6.8. I just didn't need TWO 6.8 guns.

      6.8 is the only odd caliber I have for the AR, so I just need to remember which gun is in 6.8 and I have a system for keeping the special magazines separate.

      It's not as critical to keep them separate as .300 Blackout with a weak bullet crimp... but they don't function well with the wrong round.
