Susan L Valdes has changed parties from Democrat to Republican.
I think I agree with the assessment that she's butthurt and not actually reconsidering her political feelings:
Valdes started her political career in 2016 when she won a seat on the Hillsborough County school board.
Valdes was elected unopposed on 6 November 2018 from the platform of the Democratic Party.
In
2020 and 2022, her Democratic Party primary was cancelled and she
advanced to the general election without contest. Each time, she won
reelection by a margin of over 5%.
On December 9, 2024, Valdes
switched to the Republican party, which came only days after failing to
become chair of the Hillsborough County Democratic Party.

Got skipped for a plum position and changed parties.
This is a "Fuck all y'all I can be a RINO among RINOs as easily as I can be a Dem!"
And the idiot Republicans are bragging about it.
I'm more inclined to say, "don't want you, don't need you, we've enough RINO already."
Primary her out.
ReplyDeleteProblem solved.
If she wants to earn her way to trust after that, voters can see how sincere a turncoat she really is.
I saw somewhere that she was the rep from "West Hillsborough County" but no maps or anything. Is she the rep of a high tax bracket area? It's pretty much impossible to tell what any of them truly believe or if they'll just vote with the party leaders no matter what.
ReplyDeleteLike around here, it seems they all campaign on being pro-2A and then do whatever the boss tells them once they're up in Tally. They all seem to run the same campaign and we end up getting "uniparty" types.
While I've always liked the idea of term limits it doesn't seem to work out like we wanted. They just run for the office down the hall. From senate back to house as much the other way and it seems they win or lose on name recognition.
