Many of them were term limited out.  This is the drawback to term limits, they don't fear the wrath of the voters.

    Thanks for that. I see both my senator and representative voted for the stupid thing. The democrats don't have to pass gun bans, all they have to do is threaten to the Stupid Party does it for them.

    I'm with you on the term limits thing. Term limits are always talked about as a good thing, and yet we virtually never see any discussion of the down side of it. My rep. is Thad Altman. He had been my senator. He got term limited out and moved into a different office. The guy who was senator before him decided to do something else, so there was an opening in the rotation, and the representative from Vero Beach became the Senator.

    They don't leave Tallahassee, they play musical chairs.
