Is anyone else amused that Aesop goes all personal attack when I took away his ability to comment here?
I am!
Thanks to those who took the time and risked hurt to their brains by visiting his site then informing me that I'd hit the target dead center.
I wish that Phil and Mike would see him for what he is. It appears that commenters at Mike's have him figured out.
Divemedic sure seems to have.
PS:
Traffic from Aesop is just barely over what the hoary old Gun Blog Blacklist generates. I guess that not many people are clicking the links to see what a shitty person I am...
It was about as bad as reading Huffington Post editorials or watching "The View." Or trying to translate what Mumbles Biden is trying to say.
ReplyDeleteHe’s almost like a contentious old woman - a sharp tongue and a dull mind. He means well for the most part… but he’s not a guy I want on my side, and I certainly wouldn’t let him speak for me or tell me what to think. So now he’s an expert on constitutional law, eh? 😆👍
ReplyDeleteI check out his site all the time - the comedy alone is worth the trip. If there is anything funnier than stupid people getting the odd right answer the wrong way… I have yet to see it. As an envious Canadian - your 2A says what it means, and means what it says. There is nothing to be gained by arguing with stupid people about it or compromising with them.
I am informed that he's claiming to have explained things here that he did not explain.
DeleteIf he thinks he said what he's claiming to have said in the comments I marked as spam, I cannot find it.
The only way to prove he didn't would be to grant him a venue here, and I'm no longer allowing that.
I stopped reading him a bit over a year ago. He kept predicting the end of the world, it kept not ending, and he would go off at people who noticed he was wrong. Too much drama from that source.
ReplyDeleteI was one of them, actually. He was flat wrong about the definition of Case Fatality Rate and I mentioned it. The led to, eventually, having to look up both the WHO and CDC definitions, show that they matched, and show that they agreed with how I was using it.
DeleteThat led to several changes in the comment policy and he stopped commenting for a good while.
When he came back he managed to follow the rules for quite a while... but emboldened he reverted to type. I mean the rules are right there below the comment box, they're not hard.
