Not too long ago, I had to replace the main storage inside the Mac.
Now the Drobo went tits up.
Because I do back up my important stuff all I lost were movies and TV shows.
I was considering deleting a lot of them anyway, so it's easy to be philosophical about the loss.
Might be a good idea to look at power supply feeding those devices. A few years ago (just looked at receipt and it was 2014... crap) I was having a ton of computer problems and as a test I picked up a UPS with true sinewave output and settings so it would kick in fast if there was any fluctuation in input power. First day that thing tripped about 40 times for under 1 second each. This started the hunt for the actual problem which turned out to a wiring issue when the office addition was built that didn't show until everything was in use and we had just added a person to the last office when the trouble started.
ReplyDeleteAlso might be worth it checking all your power receptacles for proper function. Back at the old house, I had one on the back outside go bad and it was causing enough voltage screwups that it took down a tv and some other stuff. A $4.00 part, screwing up every thing.
