Poop

David Drake has passed on.

As a tanker, it was nice to have war science fiction about tanks instead of battle suits or some kind of space Navy.

    Basing a lot of his books on ancient history made for very interesting reading.

    Wife is reading the Royal Cinnabar series and though she's very well read and educated, she's coming across words she's never heard before. She reads Dickens for fun.

    Love Drake's harsher realities. Shows the Turd World status of non-prime locations, whether they be individual places or planets.
