ICANN

Well, it was a good run but now the internet is controlled by?

Who?

I really feel my age and non-IT background when I read about things like this.

I don't have the wherewithal to form an opinion on if this is good, bad or neutral.

    Looks to me like it's only controlling the domain names. While it's not as easy to remember, you could just go to the IP address.
