What The Actual Heck?

Having mentioned my old Mini-14... I checked to see what the $400 not-an-AR from 25 years ago was going for.

$1,500 to $3,000?

Are you kidding me?

I really shouldn't be surprised, the current production Mini is a lot more expensive than the average AR, so it stands to reason that the vintage models would be raised by the same tide.

FuzzyGeff put it very well when I told him about the dramatic increase in value, "Only because we sold them already."

Ain't that the truth?

  1. I still got mine. :-D Since I'm not selling the fact that they are worth more on paper matters not.

  2. If I were ever to decide to sell my Mini-14, I am sure they would suddenly be down under the $350 I think I paid for mine at Jacobsen's back in the day.
