JFK's brains, famously, went out the back of his skull and all over the trunk of the limo.
This has been used to "prove" that the shot came from the front of the car. It's been used to justify that the shot came from anywhere BUT where Oswald and his Carcano were.
We've all seen temporary cavities in ballistic gelatin. In muscle, that doesn't overcome the stretch of the tissue and results in the tissue returning to it's original shape, less the permanent wound channel.
Brain has no stretch, but it's mostly water so it's incompressible.
The bullet dumping energy creates pressure that will seek to escape the vessel containing it. The skull.
This will follow the path of least resistance and someone recently made a nice hole for it to escape out of.
It's a recurring theme with head wounds.
But don't take my word for it!
Find footage of that shot and note where the blood is coming out.

DeleteThe impression most of the Kennedy assassination revisionists give me the impression that, instead of starting with the known facts and going to a conclusion based on those facts, they start from the conclusion they want (Oswald didn't do it---he said he was a "patsy" and would he lie? It was the CIA! Or whatever's bugging me today!) and work backwards from that, ignoring facts and clues that do not fit their narrative.
ReplyDeleteI will say that one theory I've seen that does make some sense was that LBJ got JFK to go down to Dallas and ride through town in an open-topped car because he hoped something would happen. It's not widely remembered, but at the time of JFK's assassination, LBJ was in a lot of hot water---he'd been caught up in a scandal involving a guy named Bobby Baker. This was when the news media would go after Democrats just as hard as they did Republicans, and there was a real chance that LBJ might have been forced to resign over this. ISTR they forced Spiro Agnew out a few years later over similar stuff.
