Tire Fund

Tires for hot-rods are expensive.

So you kind of have to save in advance to purchase them at the moment they're worn out rather than long after.

There comes a time when your little tire fund can now purchase replacement tires, but the tires aren't worn out yet.

Temptation to spend the money on other things starts to whisper in your ear...

Luckily! I've discovered "opportunity cost lock-up".  Temptation says to buy... ONE of several things.  The longer I cannot decide, the longer I don't spend the money, the more likely it is that I can still afford tires when the time comes.
