Dragon's Fire

Took the M50 to the back yard to see if I could get some pics of the Falcon 9 launch.


First stage deceleration while second stage continues

Hard to hold still for 1.5 second exposures, but I'm very happy with the camera's performance.  The old SX20 wouldn't have gotten these.

Speaking of SX20...  Marv took a video from his place!

  1. I've got to say that's some pretty good stuff from across the state. I was out watching the launch but didn't think to bring my camera.

    I'm 35 miles from the launch site. That means you have to be more like 120 or 150. Well done!
